A magic with dhal |
Ingredients
- toor dhal - 3/4 cup
- mutton (with bones) - 100 gms
- turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- green chilly - 6
- water - required
- mango - 1 small size
- sliced onion -2
- tomato - 2
- brinjal - 6 (small)
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- chopped mint and coriander leaf - half cup
- coconut oil - 1 tbsp
- coriander powder - 2tsp
- turmeric powder -half tspn
- coconut paste - half cup
- chilli powder - required
- salt - to taste
Procedure
- Pressure cook the toor dhal along with meet,green chilli and salt and let it cook about 5 whistles. After the pressure goes remove the lid and smash the dhal and keep it aside.
- Take pressure cooker and heat it,then pour coconut oil and add onion till it comes golden brown.Then add chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste,let them to saute well till the raw smell goes off.
- Now cut all the vegetables given above in a big fine pieces and add along with the sauteed one,then add chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and saute it for a minute then add the smashed dhal and coconut paste,then add required amount of water , salt and chopped coriander and mint leaves.Then pressure cook for one whistle and turn off the flame.
- Wait for the pressure to release completely.
- Mutton Dhalsa is ready to serve.
