Bhuna Gosht(mutton)



Ingredients

  •  Mutton  250g
  • whole garam masala(bay leaf 1,cinnamon sticks 2,balck pepper 3,green cardamom 2,cloves 2)
  •  large size onion 2  (make it paste)
  • ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  •  tomato 3  (make it paste)
  • green chillies 3-4
  • kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 2tsp
  • coriander powder 2tbsp
  •  Cumin Powder 1tsp 
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  •  Salt to taste
  • coconut paste 3tbsp
  • chopped fresh coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • chopped mint leaves1/4 cup
  • garam masala 1 tsp
  •  cooking oil 1/2 cup
     
                           

Method

  • Wash meet and drained well
  • Take pressure cooker and add oil.When it gets heated add whole garam masala and mutton pieces.Fry the mutton pieces for 3 minutes in the oil.Then add turneric powder ,saute for 1 minute.
  • Add the onion paste and saute it well till onion turns light brown colour,then add ginger garlic paste, tomato paste,salt and saute it well till the raw smell goes off.
  • Add chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and saute well.
  • Then add coconut paste,green chillies,chopped coriander ,mint leaves,garam masala and let it to saute well till oil oil oozes out from it.
  • Add enough amount of water(don't add more water coz the gravy should be thick ) to cook the mutton and pressure cook the mutton atleast for 3-4 whistles till the meet cook completely.
  • After the pressure released transfer the mutton into the serving bowl.
  • Try it with chapathi or nan
